Welcome to the Goldenhill Primary School website.

Hopefully our new website will provide information about our school and an insight into the provision for the children of our community . Our aim is to give each child in school the best possible start in life.

We believe in a balance of personal care, independence and the growth and development of positive values

We aim to provide interesting learning activities that are appropriate to the individual in a happy and secure environment. We hope that learning is fun, accessible to all, and offers a wide and varied experience.

The school opened its modern facility in January 1990 after moving from its former Victorian building. It is situated on the Staffordshire / Cheshire borders at the northern extremity of Stoke-on-Trent and serves the local community and those of Tunstall and Kidsgrove. The school is set in attractive landscaped grounds with a very large sports field to the rear, it has extensive open views to the front.

We currently have 218 pupils on roll and are enjoying considerable success. Facilities are very good and excellent relationships with the local community exist. The school is well respected and numbers are increasing steadily. Some children travel a considerable distance to the school.

Goldenhill Primary School was last inspected in November 2010 and was awarded outstanding school status. The school is proud of its standards of teaching, behaviour management and assessment driven learning, amongst other prominent features. These underpin the noted success of pupils of all abilities.
